Celebrating Vietnam Women’s Day on October 18th, the Trade Union of Vietnam Aviation Academy organized a flower-arranging contest in an enthusiastic atmosphere from VAA’s lecturers and staff.
Twelve teams were asked to design a flower display in under 45 minutes and share their work inspiration in respect and admiration for the academy’s female staff. Among unique messages, the International Training Institute Union presented “Sắc Hoa Tri Thức” (Blossoms of Knowledge) as a tribute to female educators who silently devoted their passions and efforts to shape future generations.
Mr Tuan, Lecturer at VAA, shared:
“At the center of the arrangement are white lilies, symbolizing purity, nobility, and intellectual virtues—qualities entrusted to women in the field of education. Crossing with tall lilies, they represent the pursuit of knowledge and harness valuable experience in such resilience despite life’s challenges. Surrounding lilies are yellow roses posing for friendship, gratitude, and success, appreciated by students and colleagues. Purple orchids are intertwined among lilies and roses that speak for the grace and inner strengths of women who balance work and family life. The color purple itself acknowledges every silent struggle accompanying their academic pathway.”
At the contest finalists, 6 teams were presented with awards and congrats International Training Institute Union for winning 2nd place. This event, filled with beauty and significance, celebrated the contributions of women across the Academy.
