Expanding horizons through Centre for Global Value Chains (CGVC)

We are proud to introduce the Centre for Global Value Chain (CGVC), a specialized research facility led by  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adam Voak. Envisioning the enhancement of local expertise and cross-industry partnerships, CGVC aims to drive impactful changes in two pillars: Food, agribusiness, and tourism. 

CGVC aims to optimize the human-centered value chains in each operation stage and ensure business efficiency, sustainability, and equity. As committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), CGVC reflects a vision to foster connections between prosperous communities while maintaining cultural relevance and environmental stewardship. CGVC key offerings:

  • Applied Research: Exploring Innovations in sustainable sourcing and production lines to address pressing challenges in global supply chains
  • Strategic Partnerships: Building connections with authorities, NGOs, and private sectors to forge ethical and wide-reach practices
  • Human Capacity Development: Designing future-oriented training that prepares learners with foundational skills & knowledge to encounter evolving market demands
