In the joint training process with Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile (ENAC), VAA pilots reached their first milestone of earning a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), adhering to the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements.
Mr. Olivier Chansou, Director of ENAC, underscored the significance of this training endeavor recognizing it as a testament to VAA’s confidence in training standards. The pilot graduates stand as proud ambassadors for both organizations playing a vital role in developing Vietnam’s aviation sector and setting the stage for future collaborations between the institutions. Their efforts to overcome differences in culture and language to fulfill the challenging demands of commercial pilot training are impressive.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang, Director of VAA, extends her heartfelt appreciation for the seamless cooperation and coordination observed throughout the pilot training program. She reaffirmed ENAC’s commitment to training excellence, recognizing its important role in shaping the future careers of the VAA graduates.
Following their training at ENAC, students will progress to DHC6 Seaplane type-rating training, further enriching their skills before returning to undertake flight missions in the Vietnam Navy Air Force. VAA continues to work closely with ENAC, believing that the university’s high standards will continue to grow Vietnam’s aviation capabilities.
