Through Vietnam Aviation Academy and Barcelona Flight School partnership, Vietnamese cadets have headed to Spain for the helicopter pilot training program, underpinning a comprehensive skill development strategy for international aviation cooperation.
Having completed General English and Aviation knowledge domestically, and entering the next phase of the helicopter pilot training program in 2022, the cadets have adopted numerous hands-on flight practices from one of the prestige training centers in Europe
On December 6, 2023, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang, Director of VAA, hosted a meeting to welcome a delegation from BFS, led by Ms. Cristina Biosca, the School’s Director. The gathering also included key representatives from VAA’s International Training Institute, Dr. Vu Le Huong – Head of the Department, and lecturers Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adam John Voak and Mr. Thai Vu Anh Tuan.
This special visit aimed to review the academic and living conditions of the Vietnamese pilot trainees in Spain and to discuss the training schedule and potential directions for future collaboration in pilot training. The BFS delegation updated the trainees’ progress, highlighting their proactive approach to studies and adherence to military discipline and school regulations.
As representatives of VAA, the trainees have shown commendable dedication to their training program to meet global standards in their field. The ongoing collaboration not only strengthens international cooperation but also reflects a shared commitment to excellence in aviation education.
