In a promising visit, CAVC representatives met with Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) board of directors and faculty specialists to explore collaboration opportunities.
Cardiff and Vale College (CAVC), one of the widespread and most reputable educational institutions in the UK, presents its mark on the field as a center of excellence in Wales. Founded with a mission to apply technology breakthroughs in education delivery, CAVC offers an impressive range of programs from A-level vocational training to university pathways among school leavers. Accredited by the British Council, CAVC is gradually upgrading its standard in teaching and boasting state-of-the-art facilities with high applicability in the field, surpassing other universities to gain a preferred choice for students from over 30 countries.
In a promising visit, CAVC representatives met with Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) board of directors and faculty specialists to explore collaboration opportunities. Discussions promptly agreed on developing top-up bachelor programs for VAA cadets and specialized courses for aviation engineering degrees. Both entities emphasized expanding academic partnerships to enhance local expertise and readiness under drastic changes in the aviation market.
The visit also allowed students to encounter international study mode through a workshop led by VAA’s Aviation Engineering Faculty with a close focus on the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATO) program, explaining entry requirements, training timeline, and qualifications. After a warm welcome to attendees at VAA, CAVC representative, Mr. Martin Smith introduced the pathway to earning an EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) certificate that can elevate learners’ professions through sufficient core knowledge and hands-on study in the aircraft maintenance process.
As a shared vision to foster global educational success that provides international insights and will sustainably adapt to the local context, the partnership between CAVC and VAA embarks on creating a transformative learning experience and driving initiatives for growth in the field.
